Garrison by his parents, Jeff and Gina Garrison to support the Dream Center of Evansville to build programs that help generations thrive neighborhood by neighborhood through scholarships, college and career readiness, and financial literacy.
Daniel Garrison grew up in Evansville and was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He had many gifts including a sharp mind and a kind heart. From the time he was a boy, he had a natural interest in how things worked, and often took things apart to see how the inside looked and operated. He had a passion for food and music and technology. The technology company Daniel owned and operated was a progression of his interests, and he used this technical talent in his business, to help family and friends, and to support his community. Later, Daniel became a volunteer for the Dream Center of Evansville. He enjoyed tutoring youth at the Dream Center and helping serve meals. His experience and interests – and especially his way with people - made him a great volunteer.
Daniel became ill, and through all of the tests and procedures, he worked to keep his spirits high as he told his nurses jokes and connected with those caring for him. Throughout his health challenges, he was always courageous; even when he was anxious, he remained strong.
To honor his memory, his parents Jeff and Gina Garrison, created an endowment to benefit the Dream Center to help the families they serve. Daniel’s generous spirit will live on through those families at the Dream Center.
